LMM Silhouette Giveaway

So I have been following Little Miss Momma blog for a couple of years and I LOVE her posts! She is amazing! It's also great because I can relate to everything she posts! Her son and my baby girl are about the same age and we are actually both expecting again. I wanted to post this today because she has a great giveaway going on right now. BG's 4th Christmas!!!!

This year was really the first year where Bella could really get excited about Christmas! She was so funny late on Christmas Eve. She had already gone to bed and she comes running out of the room and says "I think I hear Santa outside!" She was too cute! She finally went to sleep around 12:30...I know my child is a night person (like her Mommy).
Christmas morning she didn't want to wake up, but since we had church I knew I had to get her up early. She was so excited to see her presents! She wanted to open everything at once! Also she was so excited to see that Santa had eaten his oreo cookies and drank his chocolate milk:)
Then my parents and brother came over and we exchanged presents with them! Bella was so excited to get her Dora Kitchen:) She has been cooking us food ever since! We had a great Christmas morning together and then we enjoyed a wonderful church service!
Then we were able to go enjoy the afternoon at my Grandma's house with my family!
Christmas was wonderful! It just gets more fun every year with BG:)
I can't believe this was our last Christmas with just the three of us! Next year we will have a new baby to share it with!

Counting Down to Christmas...

I cannot believe that it is already Christmas Eve...This year has gone by so fast! This week has been hectic trying to get ready, but I have been blessed to enjoy the whole week home with my baby girl! We have enjoyed sleeping in every morning, last minute shopping, watching Christmas movies, making a gingerbread house, and more! This year is really the first year where BG really "gets" Christmas! We have been reminding her that Sunday is Jesus's birthday and she has been pointing out every baby Jesus that we pass by:) The other day in our neighborhood we drove by one and she forgot to mention baby Jesus and she said, "Mom, turn around and go back. I missed it". She is too precious! We are truly blessed more than we could ever imagine!
She is also definitely excited about Santa this year! Tonight she had to put out Oreo cookies for Santa and she wanted to leave chocolate milk for him. I'm sure he will love those:) She put on her new Christmas pajamas and headed to bed!
I can't wait to see her excited face in the morning...Merry Christmas to everyone:) Count your blessings!

BG'S birthday!

BG's birthday week has been busy! Monday was her actual birthday so me and the hubby gave her present to her then. She had asked for a princess bicycle for almost a year so we had to get that and a helmet of course:) Monday we also celebrated her birthday by going out to eat with my family. BG decided to not take a nap that day so she slept through the whole dinner and some at home too. So, needless to say she wasn't in the best mood once she woke up:) We did her cookie cake then!

Saturday we had her actual party, which meant I was up until 2am the night before getting everything ready! Even though it was a little stressful that night and the next morning, we managed to accomplish everything and it was a success! Thanks so my sweet hubby for helping out tremendously. Also my mom for coming before the party to help with finishing touches! BG wanted a princess party so I did as much as I could pink! We did little finger food desserts and a few salty items...pink cupcakes, pink cookies, "pink" chocolate covered oreos and pretzels, then some chips and dip. Simple....but great! BG loved it:)

where does time go?

So this week has been a whirlwind...Our baby girl (well, not really a baby anymore) turned 3! Monday, December 12th at 1:04am three years ago, the Lord sent our baby girl to us (after a looooong labor). We have been so blessed over these past 3 years. Before we had a child, I just thought time went by fast....once you have a child it hits fast forward. I never thought someone could bring you so much joy, but BG has proved me wrong! Until you are a parent, you cannot understand the unconditional love that comes with it. It is the most rewarding....difficult...and many more adjectives....experience you can ever imagine. We are so blessed to have a precious daughter who loves life and has so much energy that I have no clue where it comes from. She has the funniest sense of humor and the sweetest heart you could ask for. I love watching her grow, learn, experiment, and love everyday! It is sometimes (well, a lot of the time) tiring to be a mom, but I could never ask for a better job than being BG's mom and the wife to my sweet husband. The Lord has blessed us beyond measure and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
